Mummy & Daddy's Bedroom

After giving Mia's bedroom a make over, I thought it was about time we got ours sorted out. Lets face it, we spend the most time in there especially in the winter months and we had an opportunity to splash some paint on the walls and this is the result.

Grey/silver seems to be very in at the moment and goes great with all the monochrome pieces I wanted. That said, the room isn't all that big so I felt we needed something on this feature wall to make it "pop" and keep the room light. I found this beautiful frame from Ikea and then filled some white Ikea photo frames with some of my favourite black and white images.

Our feature wall is in the colour Toy Soldier whilst the other three are in a lighter silvery white called Morning Song both by Valspar. I loved this paint, it went on so easy and a little went a long way.

The large centre piece on the wall is from Ikea and inside is a wallpaper sample from Homebase.
Sticking with the monochrome theme, I bought the Ikea Kallex cube in black with black and white fabric boxes.
